Curtiss-Wright is a renowned aerospace corporation founded in 1929 by Glenn Curtiss, the father of naval aviation, and the Wright brothers, renowned for the world’s first manned flight. Over the last 90 years, the corporation has grown immensely and continued to innovate new technologies using the same pioneering spirit of their forefathers.

Curtiss-Wright’s recently installed First Light’s WLB solar bollards at their manufacturing facility in Cheswick, Pennsylvania. The following quote describes what led them to our products:

“We initially were going to install some architectural fencing. Then we decided we wanted it lit and looked at the options available for post-cap lighting. The architectural fencing was fairly expensive and poorly received by the facility stakeholders. Hardwiring in the 50 posts was not something we wanted to undertake either. After researching bollards and reviewing available options, First light had the nicest product, and the customer service during the purchasing phase was very good”.
