Oregon, Illinois, has a vibrant network of parks within their city. The Oregon Park District was established in 1967 and currently manages over 140 acres of park land at ten different park locations in the Oregon area. Residents can enjoy many outdoor activities, including baseball, basketball, tennis and many miles of walking trails.

24 PLB Series solar bollards were installed along pathways in Oregon Park West, giving local park users better access during the evening and winter. Using solar saved time and money by not requiring any digging or trenching to set up the bollards.

“The install was really easy – all we had to do was drill a couple holes and mount the lights. The overall experience dealing with First Light went really well.”

The company that installed the PLB Series at the park was so impressed with the lights that he also used them on another project in Illinois – the Lena Library!
