Salary: A base salary range of $50,000/year has been identified for this role. The specific base salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
Location: Victoria, B.C.
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our production team. You’ll manufacture, test, and ship the world’s smartest and best-performing solar lighting products. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a good work ethic, high energy, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Supports the manufacturing and assembly team with kitting orders accurately and efficiently
- Assemble, test, and package products according to assembly instructions accurately and efficiently
- Support the preparation of workstations by referencing assembly instructions and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving, as well as sorting and stocking
- Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse
- Assist with preparing shipping labels through computer systems
- Assist with preparing orders for shipping
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations
- Participate in yearly inventory count
- Meet daily operational goals
Requirements and Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong desire to meet daily production targets
- Experience in production, electromechanical assembly, or shipping environment
- Experience with hand tools
- Organized, dependable & reliable
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- High school diploma/GED required
